Yvonne Danielson

Yvonne M. Danielson, 43, of Walhalla, ND died on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital, Langdon, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March17, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla. Visitation will be held Monday, March 16th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Olga, ND. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Yvonne M. Thompson was born November 24, 1965, at Cavalier, ND to Francis and Marie (Dumas) Thompson. She grew up in the Olga and Walhalla areas, graduating from Walhalla High School in 1984. She then attended the Hair Designers Academy in Grand Forks.
On July 6, 1985, she married Peter Danielson at Walhalla. She worked as a hairstylist, at the grocery store in Walhalla, and also at Jackson's Bar and the Olga Bar. Pete and Yvonne worked together in carpentry and farming. Yvonne was also an avid gardener.
She especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews, doing craft work, and was always willing to give people a helping hand.
Survivors include her husband, Peter, mother, Marie Thompson, siblings, Lionel (Kathy) Thompson, and Kelly Thompson, all of Walhalla, ND, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father, Francis, sister, Shelly, and her grandparents.
Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Thomas Krupich.
