Wesley F. Seebart passed away on June 5, 2009 at the age of 96.
Wesley was born on August 17, 1912, in Munich, North Dakota. He attended school in Loma, ND and farmed in the area until the mid 1930ââ¬â¢s, when he went to work on the Fort Peck Dam in Montana. He subsequently moved to Tacoma, WA to work until he was drafted into the Army Air Corps in 1942. He served as a ground crew member on B-17ââ¬â¢s in Italy until the end of the war. After the war, he went to work in the construction industry as a mechanic and spent 25 years working mostly in Alaska on roads, airports and defense installations. He finished his career as a master mechanic in 1974 after an assignment on the Alaska Pipeline.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mary (Rice); sister Cecelia (Hovell); brothers Bernard, LeRoy, Frederick, Everett and Emmett, and a niece Joanne Bogert (Hovell). He is survived by two nieces, Ruth Mary McDonald and Helen Klabo; five nephews; Bernard, James, LeRoy and Frederick Seebart as well as William Hovell. He also leaves behind his loving neighbors, Crystene and Roger Blume and their two children, Victor and Tina (Sperry).
A committal service will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in Langdon, ND on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 2pm.
