Wallace H. Brown

Wallace H. Brown, 95, of Walhalla, North Dakota, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Walhalla Lutheran Church in Walhalla, North Dakota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Walhalla Lutheran Church. 

Wallace H. Brown was born on February 1, 1928, near Backoo, North Dakota to James and Margaret (Rose) Brown. He was raised in the Backoo and Hensel areas. On June 5, 1949, he married Shirley Copeland in Grand Forks, North Dakota. 

He was employed by the Pepsi Bottling Co. in Grand Forks as a delivery driver. He also worked on the family farm, did carpentry, and owned Wally’s TV and Appliance Store. 

Wallace is survived by his children, Barb (Gene) Arens, Devils Lake, ND, Terry (Sheila) Brown, and Ray Brown, all of Walhalla, ND. Grandchildren; Dwight (Lisa) Arens, Clint (Amanda) Arens, Tara Roberts, Clairie Domres (Jared Girodat), Jamie (Mike) Mullen, Tania (William) McKay, Jim (Jenelle) Brown, Daniel Brown, Kyle (Emily) Brown, Jessica (Mike) Scorse, Danielle Brown, Cody Kalis and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, sister Donna, brother, Lester, and daughter-in-law Jeri Lynn Jackson Brown.
