Victor Krohn

Victor Krohn, 92, of Osnabrock, ND, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Center of Osnabrock, ND.

Victor was born May 6, 1919, in Waterloo Township, Cavalier County, to John and Catherine (Harder) Krohn. He was educated in Loma and Perry Township schools. Victor was united in marriage to Alice Rouse on June 30, 1943. Victor started farming in 1947 in Easby Township. He retired in 1981 and continued to farm for area farmers part time. Victor filled his winters on the West Coast. He initially went to Washington where he helped his brother build a house. He then went to Portland where he worked at a Shell Station. They spent many years in Las Vegas where he worked as well. Victor was a member of the Dovre Lutheran Church of Osnabrock, ND.

Victor is survived by his wife Alice of Osnabrock, ND, son Duane (Audrey) of Las Vegas, NV, daughters: Peggy (Jerry) Balsdon of Osnabrock; Penny Marchell of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Greg (Shelley) Krohn of Las Vegas and their children Ryan and Derek; Kristy (Bob) Froehlich of Las Vegas, NV and their children Gavin, Grayson and Morgan; Tiffany (Bryce) Derouin of West Fargo, ND and their children Taylor and Adisyn; Cory Balsdon of Osnabrock, Alexa Marchell of Las Vegas, NV and Keaton Marchell of Las Vegas, NV, sister Vivian Lane of Sumner, WA, several brother and sister-in-laws along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, son Dennis, siblings Jack, Bill, Tony, Elton and Dorothy.

SERVICES will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Dovre Lutheran Church of Osnabrock, ND.
