Victor Greening

Victor Greening, 86, of Wales, ND passed away October 7, 2006 at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.

Victor Greening was born November 13, 1919 at Clyde, ND to Charles and Ida (Westphal) Greening. He attended grade school in Minto Township and went on to graduate from Alsen High School in 1938. He was a lifelong farmer. Victor and Rita Klein were united in marriage on November 17, 1947 at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Wales, ND. Victor was a member of the Wales Curling Club, a past Minto Township board member, and past director at the Cavalier County Museum.

Victor is survived by his son Marc (Donna) Greening, Wales, ND, daughter Connie (Ron) Erickson, Horace, ND, grandchildren: Erin (David) Hart of Maple Grove, MN; Joel (Sara) Erickson of Shoreview, MN; Jeremy Greening attending college in Wahpeton, ND; and Megan Greening at home in Wales, ND, great-grandchild: Gabriel Hart, sisters: Irene Koehn of Munich and Mildred (Howard) Klein of Richfield, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rita, and brother Edwin Greening.

VISITATION will begin at 5pm with a 7pm Prayer Service at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND on Tuesday October 10, 2006. Visitation will also take place for one hour before the time of the services at the chapel on Wednesday.
