Tom J. Manley age 46 of Pembina, ND, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Pembina, ND. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption Catholic Church, Pembina, ND. Arrangements with Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Thomas Joseph Manley was born April 28, 1959, to John and Shirley (Schlesser) Manley. He grew up near Pingree, ND.
On August 28, 1982, he married Margaret Claire Abell. In 1988, he graduated from UND Lake Region in Law Enforcement. Thru the years they resided in Carrington, Lidgerwood, Harvey, and Pembina, ND. Tom worked as a truck driver, on road construction, for the Richland and Pembina County Sheriffs Offices, and the Harvey Police Department. He also worked as a farm laborer and self employed handyman.
His community service included the Pembina City Council, Pembina Volunteer Fire Department, and was an EMT with the Pembina Ambulance Service until he was stricken with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Marge, children, Krystal (Doug) Wilson, Drayton, ND, Jessie and Matthew Manley, both of Pembina, ND, grandsons, Jonathan and Joseph, father, John Manley, Carrington, ND, brothers, Mike (Peggy) Manley, Mitchel, NE., Steve (Robbin) Manley, Jamestown, ND, sisters, Betty (Duane) Price, Price, ND, Mary Bleibaum (Andy Anderson) and Julie Molgard both of Jamestown, ND, Kathy (Ken) Wolf, Cavalier, ND, and Faith (Ronald) Nord, Adams, ND.
Tom was preceded in death by son, George, mother, Shirley Manley, and grandparents, Matt and Teresa Schlesser, and Wayne and Mabel Manley.
Interment in Pingree, ND.
