Threll W. Hornbaker

Threll W. Hornbaker age 91, of Backoo, ND died on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 10: 30 a.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Wednesday, April 16th form 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home. Visitation for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Threll was born August 25, 1916, near Backoo, ND to Archie and Twila (Hinkle) Hornbaker. He grew up and attended school in the Backoo area and farmed there until his retirement.
In 1952, he married Yvonne Longie and she passed away in March of 1972.
Survivors include his children, Gary (Dorothy) Burton, Portland, ND; Francie (Arlen) Anseth and Sidney (Bonita) Hornbaker, all of Cavalier, ND, Neil (Susie) Hornbaker, Arkansaw, WI, Debbie Baker and Marwin Anseth of Des Moines, WA, Clayton (Pam) Hornbaker, Fallbrook, CA, Donald (Val) Hornbaker, Everett, WA; grandchildren, Dale, Sidney (Malinda), Brian (Grace), Frances, Arthur, Tiffany, Jerry, Jenny, Mike, Josh, Inez, Felicia; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Thelma Moore and Gordon Hornbaker, both of Cavalier, ND, Jean Cameron, Reynolds, ND, and June (Paul) Karlstad, Portland, ND.
Also preceding him in death were his parents; infant son; grandson, Tony; and brothers, Vern and Harold "Whitey" Hornbaker.
Clergy: Rev. Beth Peterson.
Casket Bearers: Dale Anseth, Arthur Hornbaker, Brian Hornbaker, Chris Hornbaker, Sidney Hornbaker, Bryan Schlittenhard, and John Schlittenhard.
Honorary Pallbearers: All of Threll's Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
