Theodore "Ted" Hunter

Theodore "Ted" Hunter, 54, of Emerado, ND and formerly of Crystal, ND passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Crystal United Methodist Church, Crystal, ND. Visitation at the church from noon until the time of services on Monday. Burial in the Crystal Memorial Cemetery.
Theodore Craig Hunter was born February 22, 1957, at Los Angeles, CA to Ben and Ann (Rasmusson) Hunter. He graduated from Crystal High School in 1975.
On August 7, 1977, he married Rosie Swenson and they had three children: Ben and twins Annie and Cody.
Ted was employed by the Elmer Muth Farm, as a City of Grand Forks bus driver, American Crystal Sugar in Hillsboro, and for 25 years at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. He loved his family, friends, and his children. Other pastimes he enjoyed was waking up early on Saturday mornings and going for long drives on the gravel roads, reading novels and comic books, and watching westerns and the history channel.
Survivors include his children: Benjamin (Jaylyn) Hunter, Grand Forks, Annie Hunter, Bagley, MN, Cody (Summer) Hunter, Grand Forks; grandchildren: Sydney, Serenity, Symphany, Dyllan, Starla, Quinn, and Mya; siblings: Carol ( Paul) O'Keefe, Crystal, Ray Hunter, Fargo, ND, George (Virg) Hunter, Laramie, WY, Jerry (Debbie) Hunter, Grand Forks, Tom Hunter, Devils Lake, ND, Paul (Becky) Hunter, Grand Forks, Don Hunter, Helena, MT, Leila Gullickson, Hoople, ND.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and brothers Jim and Lloyd Hunter.
