Thelma Elizabeth Moore

Thelma E. Moore, age 93 of Walhalla, formerly of Cavalier, passed away on June 13, 2012 at Pembilier Nursing Center of Walhalla. Funeral service on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Cavalier Baptist Church in Cavalier. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Interment at Cavalier Cemetery in Cavalier.
Thelma Elizabeth was born on October 9, 1918 in Backoo, ND to Archie & Twila (Hinkle) Hornbaker. She grew up in the Backoo area and attended East Backoo school. She worked at Whitey's Café in East Grand Forks for several years & Baxter Pharmaceuticals in Round Lake, IL. In 1986 she returned to Cavalier. She was a resident of Pembilier Nursing Center in Walhalla since 2008.
Survivors include three granddaughters, Katherine, Shawnda & Heather; two great-grandchildren, brother, Gordon Hornbaker of Cavalier; sisters, Jean Cameron of Reynolds,ND & June (Paul) Karlstad of Portland, ND.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Lee Gunlogson; brothers, Vern, Whitey & Threll.
Memorials preferred to Pembilier Nursing Center or Cavalier Baptist Church.
