Shirley Hammond

Shirley Hammond, 66, of Grafton, ND passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Maple Manor Care Center in Langdon, ND.

Shirley was born January 21, 1947 in Langdon, ND and was raised by her parents Albert and Edna Timian. She graduated from Langdon High School and was employed with Grafton Developmental Center where she had worked for 20 years before retiring.

She loved horses and accomplished her dream of owning a farmstead where she could have all her animals. She was an outdoor girl and liked to fish when able. Shirley liked to read and work on puzzles. Family events were an important part of her life.

Shirley had three children- Lisa Hammond, Holly Harper and Natasha Hammond.

She is survived by her daughters: Holly and Natasha; grandchildren: Anthony, Roy, Kelsey, Felix and Niayla; siblings: Beverly (Garnett) Kaercher and Donald Timian; longtime friend Randy Fugere; niece and nephew: Darla Randle and Darin Kaercher and several nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Lisa.
