Sherlee Mae Paulson age 89 of Walhalla, ND and formerly of Langdon, ND, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2008, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the Walhalla-Park Center, Presbyterian Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Sherlee was born in Savage, MT, February 5, 1919, to George and Alice (Robinson) Rich. The family moved to Walhalla, where she graduated from high school.
In 1937, she married Russell Vosper and they lived in Neche for 35 years. She raised five children, Richard Vosper (deceased), Connie Busse (Ron), Prescott, AZ, Janice Wahl (Les), Detroit Lakes, MN, Penny Hardy (Dick, deceased), Walhalla, Kim Scola (John), Bonita Springs, FL, step-daughter, Ann Paulson (Roman), Eden Prairie, MN, twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her husband Herbert Paulson. They were married in 1972, and lived in Langdon before moving to Walhalla.
Travel was a sincere pleasure. She created several wonderful oil and watercolors, which she shared with family and friends. Sherlee was also gifted in knitting and embroidery. Her faith was grounded in Jesus Christ as she joins Him today.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, brother, Wilbur Rich, and sisters, Doris Eames and Harriet Soeby.
