Ryan L Ratchenski

     Ryan L. Ratchenski, 41, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at his home in Cavalier. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home in Cavalier, ND.

     Ryan was born April 9, 1978, in Cavalier, ND, to Herman and Joan (Hiller) Ratchenski. He grew up and attended school in Cavalier. Ryan graduated from Cavalier High School in 1996, then attended the University of North Dakota where he received his bachelor’s degree. Ryan then moved to the Phoenix, AZ, area where he was involved in the real estate business. For the past two years, he resided in Cavalier.

     Some of the things he enjoyed were golfing, fishing, and visiting with family and friends.

     He is survived by his father, Herman Ratchenski, Cavalier, ND; mother, Joan (Don) Tongen, Walhalla, ND; two step-sisters: Ann Tongen (Tony) Berg, Scottsdale, AZ, and Vicki Tongen, Cavalier, ND; niece Jordan Tongen; special cousins: Gavin, Grady, and Gracyn Hornung; several other cousins, aunts, and uncles.
