Ruth Trottier

Ruth Trottier, 90, of Cavalier, ND passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Wedgewood Manor, in Cavalier. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial in the Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, ND.
Florence Ruth Tillett was born October 6, 1922, in Bathgate, ND to Arthur and Evelyn (Gibney) Tillett. She grew up in Hamilton, ND where she lived her entire life.
On September 10, 1938, she married Louis Trottier in Pembina, ND.
She was a long time member of the Hamilton Baptist Church. Ruth was an avid homemaker, gardener, and quilter.
Survivors include her son: Ben (Marlene) Trottier, Enderlin, ND, their daughter, Dynnette (Charles) Lemna, great-grandchildren, Keighla (Kris) Halldorson, Brayden Huss, Andrew and Glenna Vinton, and great great granddaughters, Victoria and Aerylynn Halldorson; son, Dennis Trottier (Pat Willey), Council Bluffs, IA, and Dennis's sons, Derek and Damon Trottier, and great grandchildren: Laccie, Richard, Faith and Shelby Trottier; Tom Trottier's daughter, Kimberly (Brian) Denault, son-in-law, Donald "Juno" Pankow, great grandchildren, Tiffany Abrahamson, Breanna Jackson, Aaron Denault, Eve Jackson, Leah Red Eagle, and Abby Denault; sisters: Evelyn (Robert) Hendrickson and Isabel Johnson, all of Bismarck, ND, Donny Mae Pizzio in California, and Lana (Hal) Rich, Sparks, NV, and brother, Alfred (Joan) Tillett, Albuquerque, NM.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Louis Trottier; sons,Larry and Tom Trottier; brothers, Arthur, Bill, and Jim Tillett; sister, Barbara Lullo; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Trottier; granddaughter, Andrea Pankow, and great-grandson, Jacob Vinton.
Clergy: Rev. Steve Daggett.
