Rosella M. Goulet age 87, of Cavalier, ND died on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at her home in Mesa, AZ. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Crystal, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the St. Brigid of Ireland Catholic Cemetery, Cavalier ,ND. Arrangements with Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Rosella Margaret was born June 27, 1919, at Grand Forks, ND to Walter and Rose (Murphy) Nagle. She grew up and attended school at Manvel, where she graduated from high school. Rosella then attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks.
On November 24, 1938, she married Elmer Goulet at Grand Forks, ND. After their marriage they lived in Grand Forks and later moved to Crystal, where they lived for 15 years. They moved to Cavalier, where they owned and operated Cavalier Greenhouse and Floral. For the past 29 years she has wintered in Mesa.
She is survived by her children, Judith Goulet, Mesa, AZ; Adele (Robert) Hanson, Fargo, ND; Jerry Goulet, Eugene, OR; Peggy (Gary) Jensen, Punta Gorda, FL; Yvonne (Clayton) Motl, Cavalier, ND; Kathy (Bill) Whitehead, Olympia, WA; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Bill (Joyce) Nagle, Boring, OR; sisters; Kay Midstokke, Frances (Ray) Stadstad, Ellen (Tom) Nerby, all of Grand Forks, ND; and Madelen Bergerson, Fergus Falls, MN.
Rosella was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer on February 5, 1978, parents, sister, Barb Huot, and brother, John Nagle.
Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Jason Lefor.
Casket Bearers: James Hanson, Jeffrey Hanson, Robert Hanson, Scott Hanson, Gary Jensen, Clayton Motl, and Jason Motl.
