Rose H. Paul

Rose H. Paul, age 96, of Cavalier, ND died on Friday, June 15, 2007, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Cavalier ,ND. Visitation on Sunday, June 17th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Rose H. Dietrich was born February 27, 1911, at McArthur, ND to John and Margaret (Deck) Dietrich. She grew up and attended school at McArthur.
On November 20, 1930, she married Albert C. Paul at Pembina, ND. After their marriage they lived at Warren, MN and then farmed in the Glasston, ND area. Albert Paul died on October 6, 1986. In 1999, she moved to the Country Estates in Cavalier and in 2006, to the Wedgewood Manor.
She is survived by her son, Allan (Marleene) Paul, Fargo, ND; granddaughter, Susan (Robert) Green, St. Thomas, ND; great grandsons, Nathan (Melissa) Green, Glasston, ND and Matthew Green, Moorhead, MN; great great grandson, Samuel Green; brother, Chris (Doreen) Dietrich, Pavillion WY; sisters, Esther (Alfred) Latozke, Cavalier; Florence Nelson, Fergus Falls, MN; and Margaret Demester, Grafton, ND.
Rose was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Margaret Paul; brothers, John, Jake, Peter, Bill, and Kenneth; and sisters, Barbara Knuth and Kathryn Raedel.
Clergy: Rev. John Price.
Casket Bearers: Bob Dietrich, John K. Dietrich, Freddie Kiemele, Dean Paul, Walter Raedel, and Dale Watson.
Music: Marlys Olson, Soloist and Cheryl Hartz, Organist.
