Rose Lee

Rose Lee, 99, of Walhalla, ND passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Assembly of God Church in Walhalla. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Walhalla.
Rose was born March 8, 1913, at Cavalier, ND to Bjorn Bjarnison and Gudfinna Rosa (Asmundson) Jonasson. She was raised at Gardar, ND and graduated from Milton High School.
On August 18, 1936, she married Harry Malcolm Lee at Cavalier. After their marriage they lived near Walhalla. Harry passed away on March 2, 1968.
Survivors include her children: Guy R. (Kathleen) Lee and Perry A. Lee, all of Walhalla, Miles C. Lee, Cavalier; daughter-in-law, Janice Lee, Walhalla; grandchildren: Boyd (Jane) Lee and Joe (Glendene) Lee, all of Jamestown, ND, Melody (Robert)King, Cavalier, Marion (Darrell) Fox, Langdon, ND, Mary Jo (Chad) Otto, Chaffee, ND, Perry and Chad Lee, Walhalla; great grandchildren: Tom, Vicki, Kayla, and Kory Lee, Tyler King, Delany and Destyn Otto, Nalin, Nathaniel, Nicko, Sheyene, Hannah, and Austin Lee and two great great grandchildren, Zaddie and Kinzie; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Boyd N. Lee, six sisters, and one brother.
