Rosanna D. Carignan

Rosanna D. Carignan, 78, of Walhalla, ND passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Maple Manor Care Center, Langdon, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, November 24 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service at the church. Burial will be held in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Olga, ND.
Rosanna D. Brusseau was born July 31, 1939 at Langdon, ND to Oliver and Rita (Verville) Brusseau. She grew up in the Olga area and attended school at Olga.
On November 8, 1960, she married Ronald Carignan at Olga, ND. After their marriage they lived and farmed in the Walhalla area. Her life centered around her family and her faith. Other things she enjoyed were camping, gardening, and cooking. She always had a hot meal prepared after a long day on the farm and no meal was complete without dessert.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; children: Roxanne (Wayne) Gapp, Randy (Bonnie) Carignan, all of Walhalla, Renae (Jeff) Carpenter, Pembina, ND, Roger Carignan, Walhalla, Russell (Kellie) Carignan, Grafton, ND; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers: Maurice (Jacque), George (Lonnie), Art (Debbie) Brusseau, all of Langdon, ND.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Lloyd.
