Rosalia M. Moos

Rosalia Moos, 98, of Langdon, ND passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Maple Manor Care Center in Langdon.

Rosalia Waltz was born December 29, 1916 near Easby in Manilla Twp., the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Loster) Waltz. She grew up attending school in Manilla Twp. and graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in 1934. Rose then attended Successful Business College in Winnipeg, Manitoba and later worked for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service from 1935 to 1947. She married Ralph Moos on November 10, 1947 at St. Alphonsus Church in Langdon. They farmed in Osnabrock Twp. until retiring in 1975 and moving to Langdon. Ralph passed away on November 13, 1990. Rose moved to Wheatland Estates for a time then resided in Maple Manor Care Center.

Rose was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, altar society, Catholic Daughters of America, and senior citizens club.

Surviving Rose is her son, Richard, of Langdon; three grandsons: Kevin Moos of Plymouth, MN, Adam Moos of Plymouth, MN, and Eric Moos of Plymouth, MN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, and two brothers, William and Thomas.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. with a 6:40 p.m. Rosary and 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to service time at the church on Wednesday.

Interment – Calvary Cemetery, Langdon.
