Ronald Joseph Benoit

Ronald Joseph Benoit, 60, of Fargo, ND died on Tuesday March 13, 2007 at the MeritCare Hospital of Fargo, ND.

Ronald was born on February 24, 1947, the son of Isadore Benoit and Regina (Brusseau) Benoit in Langdon, ND. He lived in the Olga, ND area and graduated from High School in Walhalla, ND.

He attended UND and later graduated from Wahpeton School of Science. He enlisted in the Navy on July 23, 1968 and served on the east coast and in Hawaii. He was Honorably Discharged on July 21, 1972. He was employed in Colorado and in the early 1980’s moved to Fargo, ND where he has since made his home.

He is survived by four sisters: Doris Hart of Grand Forks, ND; Laurette (Roger) Monson of Dilworth, MN; Janet (Bob) Litzinger of Grand Forks, ND; Janice (Paul) Steffen of Edmore, ND and brother Eddie Benoit of Langdon, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore and Regina Benoit, brothers Florian and James and sister Fern Dumas.

FUNERAL SERVICES will take place on Saturday March 17, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Olga, ND with visitation beginning one hour before the time of the services at the church on Saturday.

INTERMENT Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery, Olga, ND.
