Roger Melland

Roger Melland, 67, of Nekoma, ND, passed away February 17, 2014.



Roger was born October 18, 1946, at Devils Lake, ND, to Walter and Mae(Lee) Melland. He grew up in the Nekoma area where he attended country school and later school in Nekoma. Roger then joined the National Guard and served his country. Roger was an iron worker and loved working in Hawaii before becoming a lifelong farmer in the area. He had just recently moved into an apartment in Edmore, ND.



Roger is survived by his mother Mae of Grand Forks, ND; sisters: Luanne (Al) Fenger of Grand Forks, ND, Vicki (Denny) Polikoff of Arvada, CO, and Beverly (Jim) McBride of Omaha, NE and many nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his father, Walter and his brother, Randy Melland.





SERVICES will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 10:00 am, at the

Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND, with the Pastor Sue Mackey officiating.



INTERMENT in the Spring: Silvesta Cemetery, Fairdale, ND
