Robert Jerome

Robert D. Jerome, 63, of Walhalla, ND passed away Wednesday, April 04, 2012, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla. Visitation on Tuesday, April 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.

Robert Dale Jerome was born May 25, 1948, at Langdon, ND to Edward and Leona (Sharette) Jerome. He grew up in Walhalla where he attended school. Robert worked for Philip Stremick Construction, Robert Dunnigan and the Phil and Rod Longtin Farms. He enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, and fishing.

On August 23, 1968, he married Gloria St. Vincent at Argyle, MN. She survives as do his sons: Clay (Michelle) Jerome, Salol, MN, Shawn (Darla) Jerome, Grand Forks, ND, Lance (Robyn) Jerome, Walhalla, Brad (Paula) Jerome, Bismarck, ND; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters: Betty (Danny) Gomez, Abilene, KS, Ruth Ross, Jamestown, ND, Cindy Jerome, Los Angeles, CA and brother-in-law, Henry Duursma, Fargo, ND.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Chad; brother, Joseph; and sister, Edith Duursma.
