Rienhold G. Sagert

Rienhold G. Sagert, 84, of Neche, ND, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, May 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Bruce Cemetery, Neche, ND.
Rienhold was born September 14, 1928, near Pembina, ND to Albert and Martha (Stegman) Sagert. He attended school at Pembina and moved as a teenager to the farm where he has resided. Rienhold farmed and raised cattle in the Neche area his entire life.
On July 8, 1952, he married Joyce Thompson at Minneota, Minnesota. She survives, as do his sons: Keith (Marilyn) Sagert, Neche, Mark (Colleen) Sagert, Cavalier; grandchildren: Jeremy Sagert, Carmin Lampi, Kevin Sagert; Drew Sagert, Austin Sagert; five great-grandchildren; siblings: Amy Latozke, Harold (Virginia) Sagert, Kenny Sagert.
Preceding him in death were his parents and sisters: Dorothy Menke and Annie Weiss.
Clergy: Patti Meyer, Intern Pastor; Music: Curtis Stegman, Soloist and Bettie Lou Stegman, Organist; Honorary Pallbearers: Jim Brown, Austin Sagert, Drew Sagert, Jeremy Sagert, Kevin Sagert, and Jeff Stark.
