Ray Keena, 64, of Hallock, MN and formerly of Cavalier, ND passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at the Kittson County Memorial Hospital, in Hallock. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier. Burial will be held in the Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, ND.
Ray was born on January 7, 1949 to William and Sara (Anderson) Keena in Grafton, ND. He grew up and attended school in the Hamilton area. He worked for Page Farms and Olson Motors. He owned and operated Ray's Auto Sales. Ray enjoyed racing horses and worked for Farm and Fleet in Moline, IL until retirement.
On November 14, 1967 he married Colleen Rickbeil. On February 25, 2002 he married Carol Buster at Rock Island, IL.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; children: Connie Aasand (Steve Rundell) , Thief River Falls, MN, and Scott (Corin) Keena, Cavalier; grandchildren: Brandi Aasand; Chantelle and Matthew Keena; great-grandson: Reed Aasand; siblings: Maxine (Marvin) McIntyre, San Jose, CA, Rodney (Shirley) Keena, Midland, TX, Sharon (Dale) O'Hara, and Bill Keena, all of Cavalier; brother-in-law Dale Rowe, Eau Claire, WI.
Also preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Audrey Rowe. Clergy, Mark Chepulis; Casket Bearers: Wes Argue, Bob Grube, Jeff O'Hara, Bert Olson, Rodney Olson, Steve Rundell.
