Randy Wade Johnson

Randy W. Johnson, age 57, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Cavalier, died Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the Andvari Cemetery, Cavalier, ND. Military rites by Bjornson-Sigfusson Post #227, Mountain American Legion.
Randy Wade Johnson was born May 5, 1953, at Langdon, ND to Roy and Laura (Horgdal) Johnson. He attended school in Hensel and Cavalier. From 1972 to 1974 he served in the U.S. Army. Randy worked construction and for farmers throughout the local community. Later he worked for the Veterans Administration in Fargo, ND.
His interests included avidly watching movies, painting scenes on wood, telling jokes, collecting items with eagles on them, and playing games with his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his mother, Laura Johnson, Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier; sisters, Janice Ellefson, Mesa, AZ and Marcella (Dennis) Gustafson, Fargo; two nieces, three nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews; good friend, Kathy Mickelson, Fargo.
Preceding him in death was his father, Roy and brothers, Loren and Kenneth.
