Pauline Hall Page, age 82, of Cavalier, ND died on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at the MeritCare South University, Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at 2:30 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Pauline Hall was born February 1, 1924, to Johann and Hosianna (Walter) Hall on the family farm near Gardar, ND. She grew up in the Gardar area and graduated from Adams High School. After attending Fargo Business College, she worked at the Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C. and Gambles Skogmo in Minneapolis.
On December 26, 1949, she married Jonathan K. "Jack" Page at Gardar, ND. They made their home in Cavalier. Jack Page died on February 25, 2002.
Her hobbies were gardening, crocheting, needle work, reading, china painting, and entertaining. She was a member of the Royal Order of Eastern Star, Republican Women, Cavalier Study Club, and also a charter member of the Pembina County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and United Lutheran Church Women.
She is survived by her children, Randy Page, Madison, WI; Jacqui (David) Hillman, Lincoln, NE; and Jon Page, Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Janna (Tim) Pohlmann, J.D. Hillman, Loree Page and Aimee Page; great grandchildren, Hanna, Clay, and Jack Pohlmann; sister, Lillian (Don) Myrdal, Fargo, ND.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe, Bill, Bjorn, Edward, and John Hall; and sisters, Mae Meier, Emma Johnson, Caroline Johnson, and Rose Bolstad.
Clergy: Rev. Doug Heskin and Rev. Beth Peterson.
Music: Christine Hughes, Organist; Aimee Page and Christine Hughes, Soloists.
Casket Bearers: Fred Hall, Greg Hall, Nicholas Hall, Rodger Hall, Warren Hall, Marvin Meier, and J.D. Hillman, Cross Bearer.
