Pauline Ballweg, 91, passed away January 1, 2007 at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.

Pauline Barbara Bernardy was born October 3, 1915 at St. Leo, MN to Peter and Julia (Kraus) Bernardy. At age five, she and her family moved to Munich, ND. She attended grade school at Trier Country school and went to High School in Munich. After graduation she worked in Langdon and went on to live in Chicago, IL where she worked for DuPont. Pauline was united in marriage to Gerald Ballweg on April 10, 1944 at Munich, ND. In 1946 they began farming in North Loma Township with the exception of three years in the furniture business in Rolla, they remained on the farm until moving to Langdon in 1970. Gerald passed away April 15, 1978. Pauline moved to Wheatland Estates in 2002 and became a resident of Maple Manor Care Center in 2003. Pauline was a member of the St. Alphonsus Church where she was active in the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Langdon Senior Citizens Center, the Maple Manor Auxiliary and the Langdon Friendship Homemakers.

She is survived by her daughters: Sharon (Joe) Davidson of Hillsboro, OR; Arlene (Keith) Mann of Plymouth, MN; Judy (Rick) Davidson of Langdon, ND; Linda (Ron) Tholkes of Munich, ND; and Carrie (Mike) Eggleston of Erie, CO, nine grandchildren: Scott Davidson, Janelle Beuley, Jade Mann, Kara Hendrickson, Corey Davidson, Melisa Davidson, Leah Schmidt, Rochelle Tholkes and Chris Eggleston, seven great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Hilary Bernardy of Munich, ND; James Bernardy of Munich, ND; Eleanor Mueller of Devils Lake, ND, brothers-in-law Harold Berg and Omar Berg both of Devils Lake, ND and sister-in-law Lorraine Ballweg of Langdon, ND along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, sisters Clara Michels, Delores Berg, and Geraldine Berg.

VISITATION will begin at 6:00pm with a 7:00 pm Prayer Service at the Maple Manor Care Center Chapel of Langdon, ND. Visitation will also take place for one hour before the time of the services at the church on Saturday.

SERVICES 11:00 O �Clock Saturday January 6, 2007 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND

INTERMENT Calvary Cemetery, Langdon, ND.
