Patricia J. (Cameron) Nolte was born October 23, 1931, at Argyle, MN, to Earl and Simonne (Landreville) Cameron. She grew up and attended school at St. Vincent, MN, and graduated from Pembina High School in 1949. On November 23, 1949, Patricia “Patsy” Cameron married John H. Nolte at the Episcopal Church in St. Vincent, MN. They lived in St. Vincent, MN after their marriage and from 1953 – 1973 lived in Neche, ND, and in 1973, they moved to their home in Pembina, ND. Patsy was a member of the Neche and Pembina United Methodist churches.
Patsy enjoyed for many years being a part of the Neche and Pembina birthday clubs, getting together with her friends and having great conversations. She also enjoyed afternoon coffee and card playing parties with her friends. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she was always happy to see the kids and attend the events they were in. Patsy’s family will miss her for many reasons but one that will be, was her cooking.
She is survived by her children: Gregory (Theresa) Nolte, Fargo, ND, Jerry (Marlene) Nolte, Edina, MN, Cheri Askew (Dewey Reynolds), Cavalier, ND; grandchildren: Alan (Jodi) Nolte, Michelle (Cory) Fairchild, John D. Nolte, Becky (Jordan) Feltman, Patrick (Sadie) Askew, Anthony (Alyssa) Askew, and Nicole Askew; great grandchildren: Isaac and Samuel Nolte; Evy, Aly, Izy, Renz, and Culley Fairchild; David Nolte; and Simone and Etta Feltman. Also survived by sister-in-law Dorothy Cameron and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband John Nolte, parents Earl and Simonne Cameron, brother Robert “Bob” Cameron, and grand daughter-in-law, Aarin Nolte.
Patricia J. Nolte 92 of Pembina, ND, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Methodist Church in Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the time of services.
