Norris Carpenter

Norris William Carpenter, age 63, passed away May 27th, 2017 at the Pemblier Nursing Home Walhalla ND.
Norris was born in Cavalier ND on October 10th, 1954. He was the fifth of ten children of Homer (Mickey) and Vivian (Berg) Carpenter. He grew up on the family farm northwest of Walhalla where he also raised his family.
Norris was a lifelong farmer, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and enjoyed spending time with his large family.
Norris is survived by his two children, Michael DeNault (Kimberly McKay), Walhalla, and Crystal Anderson, Northwood; 4 grandchildren Kailee, Jackson, Cole, and Addison; siblings, Randy (Nancy) Carpenter, Walhalla, John (Gaye) Carpenter, Leroy, Barbara (Dan) Lamping, Langdon, Mary (Manley) Bennett, Walhalla, Nancy Carpenter, Walhalla, Danny (Roberta) Carpenter, Walhalla, Rani Carpenter Forest River, Scott (Cheryl) Carpenter, Parachute, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Larry; and nephews Christopher Lamping and Jack Bennett.
There will be a private family service scheduled at a later date.
