Norma E. Cameron

Norma E. Cameron, 84, of Neche, North Dakota, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011, at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, North Dakota. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, North Dakota. Visitation will be held one hour before services. Burial will be held at the Neche Union Cemetery.
Norma E. Lembke was born February 22, 1927 at Neche, ND. to Otto and Edith (Goschke) Lembke. She grew up and attended school at Neche. For many years she worked at the Pioneer Rest Home in Bathgate and was also a cook at the Neche School, although she had various other jobs around the area. Norma was a member of the Neche United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Reading, gardening, crocheting, needle point, and especially her grandchildren were all things she loved during her life.
On May 7, 1945, she married Harris M. Cameron at Hallock, MN. Harris passed away on December 17, 1986.
Survivors include her children, Keith (Lorna) Cameron, Yankton, SD; Wesley (Ruth) Cameron, Maple Lake, MN; Audie Cameron, Neche, ND; Perry (Roxane) Cameron, Neche, ND; and Shelia Cupp, Chino Valley, AZ; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Marvin Lembke.
