Nettie Freschett

Nettie Freschett, 89, of Cavalier, ND died on Sunday, November 4, 2007, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Brigid of Ireland Catholic Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the St. Brigid of Ireland Cemetery.
Nettie was born April 7, 1918, at Crystal, ND to Henry and Mayme (Utermohl) Hoesley.
On April 22, 1937, she married Robert Freschett at St. Thomas, ND. After their marriage they lived in Cavalier. They farmed with Nettie's father until 1961. They founded Cavalier Floral and Greenhouse which they operated until their retirement in 1983. Bob Freschett died on May 16, 2003.
Nettie was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and especially enjoyed traveling and attending their annual family reunions. She was a lifelong member of the St. Brigid of Ireland Church and Altar Society.
Survivors include her children, Roberta "Bobby" Jenson, Neche, ND; Hank (Myrtle) Freschett, Kansas City, KS; Jan Freschett, Maplewood, MN; grandchildren, Bryan and John Jenson, both of Neche, ND; Robert (Jolyn) Jenson, South St. Paul, MN; Patti Freschett, Atlanta, GA; Mary (Frank) Gilman and Susan (John) Ludwikoski, all of Leawood, KS; great grandchildren, Brady, Evan, Ashley, and Levi Jenson; Sam, Clair, and Jack Gilman; Luke and Henry Ludwikoski.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Henry; sisters, Ethel Whelan, Dorothy Aymond, Elizabeth Stafford; son-in-law, Harold "Sonny" Jenson.
