Nettie Douville

     Nettie Douville, 92, of Neche, ND passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sts. Nereus and Achilleus Catholic Church, Neche, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, December 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service at the church. Burial will be held in the Neche Catholic Cemetery.

     Nettie was born December 22, 1926 in Pembina, ND to William and Mary Nyznyk.

     On April 15, 1947, she married Gordon Douville in Neche, ND. They farmed in the Neche area until his death on November 24, 1978. She was a member of the St. Ann’s Altar Society, Legion of Mary, The American Legion Auxiliary and she also taught CCD. Nettie also enjoyed sewing and crafts.

     She is survived by her children: Allan (Lana) Douville, Thomas (Jackie) Douville, all of Neche, ND, Lora (Clifford) Eppler, Walhalla, ND; grandchildren: Delaine (Darwin) Marcel, Ryan (Monique) Douville, Jason (Jodi) Douville, Justin (Andrea) Douville, Lisa (Simon) Dominguez, Amber Eppler, Brandon Eppler, Amanda Eppler. Also by her great-grandchildren: Jayden Wheeling, Wade and Lucas Douville, Shayanne Berry, Prestin and Tanner Douville, Emily and Hannah Marcel, Devin, Austin, Nathan, and Vincent Dominguez, Tennyson and Kashlyn Janke, Isabella, Jackson, and James Douville.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Gordon; and sisters, Ann Sandul and Mary York.
