Nancy E. Thomasson

Nancy E. Thomasson age 88 of Cavalier, ND died on Saturday, April 6, 2008, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Wednesday, April 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Andvari Cemetery, Cavalier, ND.
Nancy E. Grover was born December 12, 1920, at East Grand Forks, MN to Howard and Ethel (Gemmell) Grover. She grew up in the Hamilton area, attended the Cranley School and Cavalier High School.
On November 28, 1939, she married Gunnar S. Thomasson at Hallock, MN. After their marriage they lived in the Cavalier area. Gunnar died on September 14, 2005.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Howard) Puppe, Buckley, WA, Gunnar S. "Butch) Thomasson, Cavalier, Ida (Arnold) McLeod, Hewitt, MN, Kenneth (Judy) Thomasson, Hensel, ND, Ralph (Judy) Thomasson, William Thomasson, Alvin Thomasson all of Cavalier, Gloria (Kenneth) Bullock, Wadena, MN, Richard (Diane) Thomasson and David (Betty) Thomasson, all of Cavalier, daughter-in-law, Pat Thomasson, Cavalier, ND; 28 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, son, John "Jack" Thomasson; grandson, John J.T. Thomassson; granddaughter, Ashley Harder; and brother, Steven Grover.
Clergy: Rev. Beth Peterson.
Casket Bearers: David McLeod, Chris Thomasson, Doug Thomassson, Jeff Thomasson, Richard Thomasson, and Shawn Thomasson.
