Monty G. Harke

Monty G. Harke age 62 of Walhalla, ND died on Friday, January 22, 2010, at his home. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Assembly of God Church, Walhalla, ND.
Monty was born May 6, 1947, at Spokane, WA to Gerhart and Catherine (Procnow) Harke. He grew up in Spokane and was later an airplane mechanic in several western states.
On May 9, 2003, he married Carole Hamilton at Coeur D' Alene, ID. In 2008, they moved to Walhalla. Monty especially loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; son, Justin Harke, Spokane, WA; stepchildren, Jonathan (Candida) Pilkington, Port Colborne, ON and Kathryn Pilkington and husband Jeff Miller, Toronto, ON.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Gary Harke.
