Molly Ivesdal

Molly Ivesdal, 89 of Edmore passed away on July7, 2007.

Molly was raised by Charles and Mollie Botsford of Edmore. She married Thelmer Ivesdal of Edmore in February of 1934. Together they started farming and rented a farm in Overland Township. In 1944, they purchased their own farm in Prospect Township. They retired from farming in 1982. In June of 2000, they moved to Nekoma, ND.

Molly was a lady of many talents. She loved oil and china painting. Over the years she won many top awards at local, regional and state art shows for her beautiful work. She also loved music and played the piano. She constantly encouraged her children to advance any of their musical talents.

She is survived by her daughter Marlyce (Ron) of Mesa AZ; and son Steve (Patricia) of Lee’s Summit MO; two grandsons David Bryan, Paul Jackson (Myra); and three great- grandchildren: Britney, Breanna, and Brent Jackson, all of the Los Angeles area.

Molly has been a resident of Maple Manor in Langdon since September of 2005. The family wishes to thank the fine staff at Maple Manor for their kind and loving care which they afforded her in her last years.

She will truly be missed by all of her family and friends.

Visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday July 12, 2007 with a 7:00 pm prayer service all at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND

Visitation will also take place for one hour before the time of the services at the church on Friday.

SERVICES Friday July 13, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the Concordia Lutheran Church of Edmore, ND

INTERMENT Prospect Cemetery Rural Edmore, ND
