Mildred Fraser

Mildred Fraser, 96, of Walhalla, ND passed away Friday, December 7, 2012, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial will be held in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Mildred was born June 21, 1916, near Leroy, ND to Arthur and Mary Ellen (Fitzsimonds) O'Keeffe. She grew up in the Leroy area and graduated from high school at St. James Academy in Grand Forks, ND.
On June 26, 1937, she married Ronald Hoff at Leroy. After their marriage they lived and worked in the Walhalla area. Ronald passed away on April 29, 1971. In August of 1986, she married Allen Fraser, and he passed away in December of 1989.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting. Through the years she was a member of the St. Boniface Altar Society, homemakers club, and a sewing circle.
Survivors include her children: Lyle (Mary Carol) Hoff, Devils Lake, ND, LaVonne (Jerry) Rodstein, Palos Verdes, CA, Mary Ellen (Francis) Doyle, Carson, CA, Colleen Croslin, Sun City, AZ, Rhonda (Paul) Bonaime, Neche, ND and James Hoff, Grand Forks, ND; 16 grandchilden; 26 great grandchildren; stepchildren: Willard (Lynn) Fraser and Garnett (Karen) Fraser, all of Walhalla, step daughter -in- law, Philes Fraser, Karlstad, MN, eight step grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren and seven step great great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, stepson, Bob Fraser,grandson, Ronald Doyle and six siblings.
