Milda Bjornson

Milda Bjornson age 94 of Walhalla, ND died on Thursday, November 24, 2005 at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND Visitation an hour before the time of service. Burial will be at Thingvilla Cemetery, Mountain, ND. Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND in charge of arrangements.
Milda Jore was born January 11, 1911 at Union, ND the daughter of Gilbert and Netta (Anderson) Jore. She attended school at Montrose Township in Cavalier County.
She worked as a housekeeper. She married Hannes Bjornson on March 20, 1945 and lived at Mountain, ND. He passed away in 1966.
Milda is survived by her daughter, Cobie Axelson , Grand Forks, ND. 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Sisters: Mildred (Clarence)Romfo, Langdon,ND;Nora (Orvin) Romfo, Walhalla, ND and brother: Thelmer (Belle) Jore, Grand Forks, ND. And many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sons: Marvin, Duane and grandson Justin; brothers: Oscar, Marvel, Norman, Carl, Gustav, Henry, Hjalmer and infant sisters and sister, Olive Holth.
