Michael O. Gregory

Michael O. Gregory, 73, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, at Valley Senior Living, Grand Forks, ND. A Celebration of Life will be held in Cavalier on Saturday May 3, 2025, at 1:00pm at Sammy's Bar.

Michael Oliver Gregory was born May 12, 1951, in Crookston, Minnesota. Mike was the oldest son of Oliver J. Gregory, Jr. and Susan Fournier Gregory, whose family lived in Grafton, ND and Cavalier, ND. Mike eventually joined his father and brother in the car business.

Mike graduated from Cavalier High School in 1969 and enrolled at UND, Grand Forks, ND where he became a lifetime member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and enjoyed many friendships from those days for the rest of his life.

His children, Jack Gregory and Sarah Gregory Jorgensen took great care of him while he suffered from Supra Nuclear Palsy. He spent his last years in Grand Forks.

Both his mother and his father preceded him in death, along with his brother John.

He is survived by two brothers, Mark (Barb) and James Gregory and his children Jack (Bonnie) of Grand Forks, ND and Sarah Jorgensen (Alex) of Lino Lakes, MN. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Lovell and Oliver Gregory and Lauren and Norah Jorgensen.

He will be missed by his family and countless friends made along the fulfilling life that he led. We will gather to celebrate his life and the endless enthusiasm and happiness that he brought to all.
