Michael Danielson

Michael Lewis Danielson, 65, of Walhalla, ND passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, September 16th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Vang Cemetery, Vang, ND.

Mike was born July 10, 1946, at Langdon, ND to Lloyd and Mary (Kram) Danielson. He grew up in the Walhalla area and graduated from Walhalla High School. He worked as a carpenter throughout the United States and returned home to rest. His passion was spending time in the outdoors, hunting, and his Labrador retrievers.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Danielson, Walhalla; son, Michael Danielson Jr., Seattle, WA; siblings: Kathy (Darrel) Nash, Lawton, ND, Lloyd Patrick Danielson, Walhalla; David (Brenda) Danielson, Aurora, CO, Carol Castleberry and Mary (Bill) Maxson, all of Alto, NM; Peter Danielson, Walhalla, Joan (Craig) Andersen, Fort Worth, TX and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father, Lloyd.
