Michael Agnes

Michael Agnes, 59, of Devils Lake, ND, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at his home.

Michael Joseph was born September 26, 1963, at Rolla, ND, to Franklin and Lucy (Barron) Agnes. He went to school and graduated from Langdon then later earned a degree in mechanics at Lake Region Jr. College in Devils Lake. Mike worked at Ron’s Standard for many years and at 4^th Corp until forced to retire due to health issues. Mike loved computer games, fishing, going to the casino, card & dice games, and was an avid sports card collector. He enjoyed sharing good conversation and a good meal with family and friends. He was so proud of the family background he came from and had such admiration for the wisdom and advice from his dad.

Surviving Mike are his sons: Justin of Fargo, ND, Joshua (Kasandra LaMonda) of Devils Lake, ND, Jeremiah of Minot, ND; four grandchildren: Axel, Rosalie, Jeremy, Madison; siblings: Keith (Gayle) Agnes, Lynne (Allen) Bauer, Jerry (Theresa) Agnes, Rick (Janet) Agnes, Rodney (Julie) Agnes, Danny Agnes, Franklin Dean (Shelly) Agnes; the mother of his children, Donnada Aipperspach; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister-in-law Sue Agnes, nephew Shaun Lee Agnes and other relatives.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at St. Alphonsus Church in Langdon, ND, with visitation starting one hour prior to service time.
