Meriza D. DuBois

Meriza D. DuBois age 84 of Walhalla, ND died on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer and rosary service at the church. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Meriza D. Perrin was born May 29, 1925 in St. Claude, Manitoba to Alzyr and Sarah (Sutherland) Perrin. She grew up and attended school in St. Claude, Manitoba.
On November 8, 1945, she married Wilford DuBois at St. Claude, Manitoba. After their marriage they moved to Walhalla. She worked as a phone operator in Walhalla, at Pembilier Nursing Center, and as a housekeeper for the priests in Walhalla for several years. She was a member Walhalla Legion Auxiliary and St. Boniface Altar Society. Meriza was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed quilting.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth (Paula) DuBois, Devils Lake, ND, Larry (Cindy) DuBois, Cavalier, ND, Sharon (Levone) Domier, Portland, ND, grandchildren, Anne DuBois, Christine Baier, Jill, Michael, and Erik Domier; brother, Art (Marj) Perrin, Red Deer, Alberta.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Wilford; and four brothers, Joe, Frank, Maurice, and Albert.
Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Thomas Krupich.
Casket Bearers: Christine Baier, Erik Domier, Jill Domier, Michael Domier, Anne DuBois, and Patrick Smith.
