Melvin F. Feldman

Melvin F. Feldman age 78 of Pembina, ND., died on Sunday, March 27, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Fargo, ND. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pembina Pioneer United Methodist Church, Pembina, ND. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service and Masonic Service at the church. Burial in the Pembina Cemetery. Arrangements with Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Melvin F. Feldman was born August 27, 1926, at Pembina, ND. to Francis B. and Gladys K. (Shaw) Feldman. He graduated from Pembina High School and then served in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge from the service he attended the Wahpeton School of Sciences. He worked at Motor Coach Industries until his retirement in 1990.
He was a member of the Pembina Masonic Lodge and served as Grand High Priest of Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of North Dakota from 1992 thru 1993. Mel was also a member of the Pembina United Methodist Church, Pembina Historical Society, Pembina Ambulance Service, Pembina Government Housing Project, and the Pembina County School Reorganization.
On November 18, 1952, he married Mabel Middleton at St. Vincent, MN.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel, children, Richard (Charlotte) Feldman, Fargo, ND., Kathryn (Jack) Misson, Detroit Lakes, MN., John (Nancy) Feldman, Pembina, North Dakota, grandchildren, David and Amanda Feldman; Christopher (Tammi) Misson, Elizabeth (Curtis) Wilson, and Matthew Misson; and Holly Feldman, great grandchildren, Nicholas and Luke Misson, sister-in-laws, Marion Feldman and Hazel Feldman.
Mel was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Charles of Half Moon Bay, CA. and Ralph of Winnipeg, Manitoba
