Mary Bartlette Schroeder

Mary Bartlette Schroeder, 84, of Walhalla, ND passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Mary Bartlette was born January 24, 1927, at Walhalla, ND to Mose and Rose (Bruce) Bartlette. She grew up in Walhalla. She married and moved to Grand Forks where she spent most of her life. Mary especially enjoyed gardening, reading, dancing, soap operas, as well as spending time in the American Legion Auxiliary and with her family and their pets.
Survivors include her children: Lila Baker, Bisbee, ND; Rose (George) Kalis, Walhalla; LouAnn Dauphanis, Mayville, ND; Mary Compeau, Fargo, ND; Beth (Doug) Anderson, Grand Forks; Julie and Anthony, as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; sister: Florence Simpson, Williston, ND; brothers: Wilbur Bartlette, Livingston, MT; Harris Bartlette, Grand Forks.
Preceding her in death were her parents; Sisters: Lena and Blanche, brothers; Abe, Albert, Josie, Orville
