Mary M. Blair, 68, of Neche, ND passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier, ND. Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bathgate Presbyterian Church, Bathgate, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Faith in Action or the Pembina County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Mary was born July 27, 1954, at Red Lake Falls, Minnesota to Elroy and Mae (Lunak) Lien. She spent her early years as well as some of her adult life in Grand Forks, ND.
Mary and Elwood were united in marriage on August 14th, 1993. Since that day, they had many adventures together that made life together both fun and exciting. Mary loved her family dearly, and especially adored her grandchildren.
Mary enjoyed cooking for Elwood and entertaining her friends. She was very social and knew how to liven up any room she was in. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing any chance she had. Mary and Elwood loved to ride motorcycles and ventured to Sturgis a few times which Mary loved! Above all, Mary had a deep faith. She had a loving relationship with our Lord, and knew she was on to a better place after her life on earth was over. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Survivors include her husband, Elwood, son Robert III (Lynn) Housel, her grandchildren, and siblings: Ronald, Judy, Bruce, Jeannie, Caryol, and Richard. Also surviving are her brother and sisters-in-law, Robert (Jean) Blair and Dolores Blair.
Preceding her in death were her parents, son, Thomas Housel, siblings: Rodney, Lynne, Sandra, Bradley, and Cheryl, brother-in-law, Terry Blair.
