Mary Heironimus

Mary Heironimus, 83, of Langdon, ND and formerly of Winchester, VA, passed away November 19, 2008 at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon, ND.

Mary Keckley was born to Lester F. Keckley and Nancy S. (Hoover) Keckley on August 25, 1925 at Stephenson, Virginia. She grew up at Brucetown, VA and attended school at Brucetown Elementary and Stonewall High School. Mary was wed to Linwood W. Heironimus on June 4, 1952 at Winchester, VA. The couple made their home in Brucetown, VA. Mary lived in Virginia her entire life until moving to Langdon, ND in 2005 to be with her family.

Mary was a member of Brucetown United Methodist Church and later attended the Abundant Faith Ministries Church in Langdon, ND. She was also a past member of the Clearbrook Fire Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived her life for her family.

Mary is survived by her son: Reverend Linwood "Lynn" Jr. (Lisa)Heironimus; grandsons: Andrew “Drew” B. Heironimus, and Linwood “Lindy” Heironimus III; two sisters: Gladys I. (Lawrence) Ring, Esther E. (James) Hounshell and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her husband, Linwood, as well as her brother Walter F. Keckley Sr.

Services will be held at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at four o’clock with a service and burial to be held in Winchester Virginia at a later date.
