Marvin Dammen

Marvin Dammen, 80 of Fargo, ND passed away on Friday, June 20, 2008 at his home.



Marvin was born November 3, 1927 in Osnabrock, ND the son of Alfred and Blenda (Haraseth) Dammen. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He attended grade school and graduated from Osnabrock High School in 1946.



He retired from working for McKesson Corporation in Fargo where he worked for over 30 years. He was honored for this many years of volunteer work at the VA Hospital in Fargo. He also enjoyed his volunteer work at the Red River Zoo in Fargo.

He enjoyed spending the summers at Big Cormorant Lake in Minnesota. He also enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii in the winter with his special friend Maxine.

Marvin is survived by one sister, Grace (Harland) Johnson of Osnabrock, ND. One niece, Lana (Dean) Fuglem of Mesa, AZ, two nephews, Tab Johnson of Mesa, AZ, Jay (Renetta) Johnson of Grand Forks, ND, two great nieces, Heather (DJ) Janousek, sons Daegan, Jaxon, Danyn, of Greenbush, MN, Jacqueline (Mark) Slaaen of South Milwaukee, WI, two great nephews, Kyle and Brett Johnson of Grand Forks, ND and one cousin Robert (Nancy) Haraseth of Osnabrock, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his special friend Maxine “Max” Hendrickson.SERVICES Monday, June 23rd, 2008 at 2:00pm. At the Dovre Lutheran Church of Osnabrock, ND.
