Martha M. Ring

Martha M. Ring, 93, of Langdon, ND died Monday, October 13, 2014 at Maple Manor Care Center in Langdon.

Martha was born May 18, 1921 in rural Waterloo Township, Cavalier County. She was the youngest daughter of pioneer couple Henry and Alida (Klein) Ring who homesteaded in Waterloo Township. Martha attended grade school in Waterloo Twp. and attended and graduated from Langdon High School in 1941.

Shortly after graduating, Martha moved to St. Paul, MN where she lived and worked for approximately 5 years before moving to Los Angeles, CA. In California, she was employed at Atlantic Richfield Oil Company until she retired. She continued to live in CA until June of 2005 when she returned to Langdon. She lived at Wheatland Estates until becoming a resident at Maple Manor in May 2011.

Martha is survived by nephew Lynn (Sharon) Ring of Langdon; and nieces: Patricia (Larry) Link of Ontario, OR, Marcia (Cale) Shipman of Rutland, VT, Marlene Ring of Boerne, TX, Donna Moncrief of Sheboygan, WI, & Margaret (John) Ellavsky of Longview, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Elsie Ring, Margaret Wann, Eleanor Petty; brothers: Fred Ring, Helmut Ring; and nephew Russell Wann.

Services for Martha will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Maple Manor Care Center Chapel in Langdon, ND. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time.

Interment: Immanuel Redeemer Cemetery- Dresden, ND
