Marlys G. Brown

     Marlys G. Brown, 84, of Cavalier, ND passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. A private graveside service will be held at the Cavalier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Cavalier Ambulance Service or Cavalier Faith in Action.

     Marlys G. Morrison was born February 14, 1936 at Bathgate, ND to Lloyd and Alice (Carter) Morrison. On June 15, 1954, she married Alex Brown at Bathgate, ND.

     She was the proud mother of Ray, Don, Lee, and Kim. Marlys is survived by her children: Don (Sheri) Brown and Lee Brown (Lyndis) all of Fargo, ND, Kim (Paul) Schwartz, Bathgate, ND, daughter-in-law, Sue Brown, Cavalier, ND; grandchildren: David (Nicole) Brown, Bobby (Amanda) Brown, Barbie (Scott) Hoffarth; Mandy (Shaun) Lubken, Marc (Linsey) Ritteman, Blake (Megan) Ritteman, Jace Brown, Beau (Alayna) Brown, Connor (Raina) Brown; Ashley (Tim) Schroeder, and 24 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Laura Gay, San Diego, CA and several nieces and nephews.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Alex, son, Ray, brother, Wallace Morrison, brother-in-law, Noble Gay.
