Marjorie "Midge" Johnson, 80, of Cavalier, ND passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 21, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Marjorie Miller was born November 7, 1931 to Clarence and Hazel (Bond) Miller in Nebraska. She grew up in Martin, SD where she attended school. On August 20, 1949, she married Calvin Johnson at Martin, SD. In 1951, they moved to Grand Forks where Midge worked as a bookkeeper at A &L Potato Company in East Grand Forks, MN for many years. Calvin passed away on September 30, 2005. Midge enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards, and cross word puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter, Bobbi (Jerry) Hruby and grandson, Troy Hruby, all of Cavalier; and brothers: Don Miller, Golden Lake near Northwood, ND, and Bob Miller, San Angelo, TX.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Vicki Littlejohn; four sisters, and two brothers.
