Marian Lesher

F. Marian Lesher age 83 of Cavalier, ND died on Sunday, November 27, 2005, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 2, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Thursday, December 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
F. Marian Gestson was born August 14, 1922, at Gardar, ND to Gestur and Thorunn (Thorlacius) Gestson.
On September 1, 1940, she married Willard W. Lesher at Cavalier, ND where they have resided for the past 65 years.
She was employed at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital as a Nurse Assistant and Ward Clerk for many years. During this employment she earned the title of "Employee of the Year". She was also an avid craftsperson and loved to crochet and make dolls.
Marian is survived by her husband, Willard, daughter, Darlean (David) Gibson, Spark, NV and Kathleen (James) Boggis, Garden Grove, CA, grandchildren, Amber Christiansen, Terry, Jennifer, and Shannon Boggis, great grandchildren, Taylor, Stormy, Danielle, and James.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Eric Daniel and Phillip Gestson, and sisters, Pearl Christie and Beulah Gestson.
