Marcy A Lorenz

Marcy A. Lorenz, 64, of Langdon, ND, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Marcy was born on May 6, 1955, in Langdon, ND, to Richard and Iris (Dobbie) Gellner. She grew up and attended school in Langdon, graduating from Langdon High School in 1973. In February of 1979 Marcy was united in marriage to Terry Lorenz. Marcy ran a successful dental practice with her husband until his death in 2004.

Marcy was a member of the North Dakota Dental Association. Some of the things she enjoyed were crossword puzzles, fishing, horses and gardening, especially her rose garden.

Marcy is survived by her sons: Troy Lorenz, Minneapolis, MN; Kelly (Carolina) Lorenz, Minneapolis, MN; and Bill (Nichoel) Lorenz, West Fargo, ND; grandchildren: Londyn (Tim) Sola, Fargo, ND; Paige Lorenz, Duluth, MN, Jackson Lorenz, WI; Jasmine (Gregory) Gibson, MI; Emily (Sean) Nouv, MD; Kristen Lorenz, Fargo, ND; and Lucas Lorenz, West Fargo, ND; great-granchildren: Chelsey and Isabella Sola and Skye Gibson; mother, Iris; siblings: Karen Gellner, Donna (Donald) Glarum, Jane Gellner, Susan (Larry) Garner and Scott (Darcy) Gellner; nieces and nephews: Todd Glarum, Lindsay (Nick) Kramer, Brooke (Michael) Brekker, Kaylee (Lonny) Magstadt, Daniel (Marie) Garner, Kallie Garner, Sarah Gellner, Dustin Gellner, and Stephanie Gellner; great-nephews: Owen and Spencer Brekker; and great niece, Nora Magstadt; and daughter-in-law, Claudia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; and father, Richard. 

A private family service was held. Memorials are preferred to the Cavalier Cancer Crusaders, Langdon, ND.
